  • Reimagine revenue strategy for The Recount and building out a new program: editorial partnerships. Manage the editorial production and execution of revenue-generating events and video series that generate $1.5M in revenue annually

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day execution of video series and events including creative direction and execution. Build a team of freelancers and agency partners to assist in producing videos and events. Manage the P&L of the practice to goals against costs and profitability

  • Launched new content properties including podcasts and livestream shows. Create marketing strategy and coordinate with social media team, PR agency, leadership, creative, production team, producers, and talent to execute launch plan 

  • Developed event strategy and production for virtual and in-person events and grew events business to generate $500K in revenue. Create annual strategy and seek out speaking opportunities, work with Revenue team to develop pitches for sponsored events, lead and execute marketing of events, develop event programming, work with Recount talent and leadership, and coordinate logistics

Assistant Vice President, Multimedia & Storytelling

  • Led creative and production for original multimedia content strategy including video for conferences and social media, livestream video, podcast series, campaign assets, animated videos and more.  Doubled production output through repeatable processes and templates, and studio improvements

  • Managed a team of nine in-house and contract producers, editors, and videographers who reside all across the country

  • Oversaw all facets of production including crafting and editing scripts and storyboards, producing audio and video shoots, and shepherding projects through post-production

  • Conceptualized, developed and launched the LPL Newsroom, a new media platform designed to increase awareness and drive sales of services, that distributes twelve series – blogs, podcasts, and videos – in weekly, monthly, and quarterly formats. Developed series, art directed series elements, produced production books, led weekly programming meetings, and oversaw team of fifteen to execute content.

  • Created, pitched, and produced new livestream broadcast show, “LPL Live,” as a key component of LPL’s largest conference, Focus, that doubled engagement in live and on demand conference content. In three months, developed twenty segments, built a team of ten segment producers, selected and coached four hosts, oversaw development of content and graphics, managed show flow and scripts, led prep calls and rehearsals, and produced ten hours of live programming over three days

  • Translated “LPL Live” event broadcast show to a remote-produced livestream show for more timely updates leveraging Zoom and Open Broadcast Software. Produced one hour-long show a month, as well as added additional live shows in peak communications times, sometimes resulting in two shows a week. Set show schedule, led content and graphic development, wrote and edited scripts, coordinated production logistics, scheduled and led prep calls and recording, led promotion of event, and oversaw livestream of show with partner technology team

  • Manage broadcast studios in Fort Mill and San Diego including scheduling, and working with team and partners to make improvements.

  • Grew team through in-house employee hires and agency partner to scale multimedia production

Assistant Vice President, Digital Creative Strategy

  • Built and managed a Digital Creative team of seven, including hiring a graphic designer, video producer, animator, videographer, content strategist, writer, and project manager

  • Launched content marketing function on the Digital Experience team, designed to drive traffic to new “Find an Advisor” tool. Oversaw related updates to corporate website, created and executed blog strategy, and delivered multimedia content targeting the end-investor audience

  • Partnered with an agency to design a new “Find an Advisor” tool on LPL.com. Participated in user research interviews, user experience design and feedback sessions. Oversaw visual design 

  • Pitched, piloted, launched, and produced LPL’s first external podcast series, Market Signals, increasing reach of our research team by 500%

  • Led creative strategy for diversity & inclusion campaign. Produced two video series, developed educational materials, and designed microsite

  • Conceptualized and created story arc framework for digital and communications teams, reducing the silos between teams and streamlining campaigns delivered to advisors
